PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There were no reports of violence at polling places across Pennsylvania, according to Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar.

However, there was one incident of note: A man accidentally shot himself at a polling place in Northampton County, about 80 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Boockvar said the man was, fortunately, able to drive himself to the hospital.

Boockvar did not divulge any other information about the incident. Instead, she and Gov. Tom Wolf centered their Tuesday night press conference on asking Pennsylvanians for patience as they go through the process of counting every vote.
