LISTEN: Nationals Radio Call of the Final Out to Win the World Series

By , 106.7 The Fan

As you celebrate the Washington Nationals' improbable World Series championship, remember that Charlie Slowes and Dave Jageler were there with you every step of the way.

Tonight and tomorrow, 106.7 The Fan will be posting radio calls from throughout Game 7 of the World Series and the postseason, where the Nationals defeated the Houston Astros 6-2, to coronate the world champs.

It's only fitting the Nats had to conquer one more improbable feat en route to their first championship. Now, they are the first team in baseball history – after dropping all three games in D.C., only to sweep the Astros in Houston – to ever win four World Series games on the road.

It's our esteemed honor to present to you Charlie's game-winning call.

And now for the words you'll remember forever: SWING AND A MISS! SWING AND A MISS! SWING AND A MISS! AND A WORLD SERIES GAME 7 WINNING CURLY W IS IN THE BOOKS! THE CELEBRATION IS ON! THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS!

Enjoy some of our other World Series content as we celebrate the Nats' historic championship all through the night.
