D&B: Atlanta United Just Came Out Flat

Darren Eales joined Dukes & Bell to talk about our Atlanta United as they clinched a playoff berth on Saturday.

Eales discussed the disappointing match against Columbus. “It was a strange one.” Eales said “We were up 1 at the halftime, but the warning signs were there, they were getting their chances, I hope we have our clunker out of the way, now we can get ready for the playoffs because now we have qualified for them.” Darren said the club will not rush Barco back. “He was training on his own today.” Eales said “He’s getting up to speed, with a young player like that we don’t want to rush him back.” Eales said the team needs to be playing its best soccer going into the playoffs.

 “You look at everyone else and we have to win all our games. The reality is let’s just focus on our games and we will end up wherever we are. There’s an art getting to the end of the season playing our best soccer and that’s where we need to be at.”  “He’s been incredible.
