According to ABC 12 out of Ohio, 6-year-old John Oliver “J.O.” Zippay, just completed his last round of chemotherapy treatment.
John was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2016, and it's been a long road for the Zippay family.
“He had a mediport in his chest, so he wasn’t able to do any physical activity for three years. So it was hard for him. He had to sit back for gym class and things," his father explained.
Well, the day has finally come where J.O. can celebrate!
After he received his last treatment, J.O. returned to his school to see his classmates, teachers, and family memberships giving him a standing ovation.
