At the beginning of quarantine I thought life would be super easy.
Turns out, with the ability to roll out of bed, eat whatever is in my house, and watch TV while on Zoom, it's super easy to slip into bad habits.
Couple in the fact that my gym has been closed for over a month and it's a recipe for bad habits.
I was eating bad, sleeping late, and starting to feel the effects.
I was tired all the time, grumpy, and all in all, becoming negative.
So, I decided to go back to my old routine before COVID.
I wake up at 7am, eat breakfast, workout, shower, and begin my work day.
If my workload is light that day, I read. I find things to learn.
I've found that after a week of this, I'm feeling MUCH better. I have an overall positive outlook and I'm not nearly as tired!
So my advice to you, if you're slipping into bad habits, then try getting into a routine and stick with it. I promise, it'll help!
