Orange County CARES Portal reopens again today

Orange County residents can apply for a one-time stimulus check starting at 8AM today through the CARES Portal. According to the Orange County website:

"The program provides a one-time payment of $1,000 per household for residents affected by COVID-19 to help bridge financial gaps. Residents who have already received funding from Orange County’s CARES Act Individual and Family Assistance Program are not eligible to apply."

The application portal will open at 8 a.m. and will remain open until 10,000 applications have been recived and then it will close. You'll have a second day to apply, which will be on Saturday, October 24th starting at 8 a.m.
