Tom Hanks' Son Chet Asks Adele to Call Him After Her Controversial Carnival Photo

Adele seems to have set fire to Chet Hanks’ heart.

On Tuesday, Tom Hanks’ 30-year-old son attempted to shoot his shot with the British singer on Instagram by posting a video on himself listening to her single “Set Fire to the Rain.”

The actor was seen rocking out to the 2011 hit before sending the Grammy winner a message in Jamaican Patois, according to E!

In the video, he urged Adele to hit up his DMs and made texting and calling hand motions.

In case there was any confusion about his intentions, he also wrote it out in the comments section.

"@theshaderoom PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ADELE HIT MY LINE ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED TO TALK TO HER ABOUT SOMETHING," he wrote along with 12 Jamaican flag emojis!

The emphasis on the Jamaican culture and language comes after Adele shared a controversial photo of herself on social media in Bantu knots and a Jamaican flag-inspired bikini top.

"Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London," she captioned the photo in celebration of the annual Caribbean event that was cancelled due to COVID.

As for Chet, he previously spoke with a Jamaican accent during the red carpet portion of the 2020 Golden Globes where his father was presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award. The post left his fans and followers confused.

Throughout the show, Chet commented on everything taking place while doing an accent. He posted clips from their front-row table on his Instagram story.
