Adele Shares the Book That Brought Her 'Happiness and Freedom'

'This book will shake your brain and make your soul scream'

Adele’s wave of self-improvement and optimism during this pandemic resulted in a stunning weight loss almost braking the internet. Over the weekend, she attributed that change to a special book she claims will “Shake your brain and make your soul scream.”

The GRAMMY-winning singer posted the cover of Glennon Doyle’s Untamed on Instagram. Adele claims the book can shape dreams and change lives. “Anyone who has any kind of capacity to truly let go and give into yourself with any kind of desire to hold on for dear life - Do it,” she said. “Read it. Live it.
Practice it. We are a lot! But we are meant to be a lot!”

Doyle’s third memoir calls on women readers to look past cultural gender constructs and fully realize what unique potential lies beneath. “I never knew that I am solely responsible for my own joy, happiness and freedom!! Who knew our own liberation liberates those around us? Cause I didn’t!!” the singer writes about Untamed.

While most of us have been debating which reality show to stream during this pandemic, the “Someone Like You” singer worked hard to reshape her body. Back in May, Adele posted a stunning birthday picture that highlighted her recent weight loss.

Rocking blonde curly locks, Adele struck again August 1st praising Beyoncé’s new visual album Black Is King, showing off a healthy figure and big smile.

Untamed seems to be a favorite among women celebrities looking for extra inspiration during this pandemic. Kristen Bell and Reese Witherspoon both posted mentioned the book on their Instagram pages. "I haven’t stopped talking about this book since I read it,” Bell writes. “Everyone in my family is sick of me referencing it, but I’ll never stop because IT’S PERFECT.”
