James Corden is toying with our emotions. Just last week during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Corden spoke on the uncertain future of his popular Late Late Show segment, Carpool Karaoke.
Jump to yesterday, Monday night’s episode of The Late Late Show, James shared a never-before-seen clip from the BTS episode filmed earlier this year. While receiving gifts is one of our love languages, we're definitely getting mixed signals over here, but we'll take it.
Inspired to share the footage, James praised BTS for donating $1 million to Black Lives Matter, and was even more impressed by their ARMY for matching that donation. And further more for teaming up with BLACKPINK and other K-pop groups to drown out hateful messages on social media. Corden wanted to thank the ARMY and thought of no better way than to share a previously unaired part of the segment.
In the clip James asked the group if they ever break out into song while they're bored on the tour bus or plane, they answered with of course, and followed it up with a harmonious rendition of none other than, "Baby Shark."
After a laughing off the unexpected song choice, Corden wanted to join in on the fun and kicked off the song from the top. As all 7 band members and Corden sang out the children’s song, the band had a different idea and suddenly switched up the lyrics from "baby shark doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo" to a SFW remix to LMFAO's "Shots," but in this case “Sharks.”
