Amid the COVID-19 pandemic that began in early 2020, artists have been trying their hardest to keep their fans engaged with livestreams and drive-in shows. But the experience has seen a marked shift in production plans for most, as well as a dip in sales due to ongoing employment and economic uncertainty.
Singer Billie Eilish's plans for her Where Do We Go? world tour are included in this mess. On Thursday, Eilish announced via social media that she will be refunding fans for tickets and VIP passes for the previously postponed, now canceled tour.

"Hi guys, I wish that I could have seen you on tour this year. I've missed performing for you and being on stage so much I can't even tell you," Billie addressed her fans. "We’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but none are possible, although I know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the best thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can."
Along with the refund news, Eilish offered optimisim saying, "When we’re ready and it’s safe we’ll let you know when everyone will be able to purchase tickets again for the next tour."
Billie officially postponed the North American leg of the tour on March 12. "We’ll let you know when they can be rescheduled," she promised at the time.
In the meantime, we're not expecting Billie to slow down one bit. She's already dropped her attitudinal new anthem "Therefore I Am" last month and performed it at the 2020 AMAs. She also hinted at new music in the works this week, 16 new songs in fact, which she says she already loves.
