Celebrities have been offering once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. The All In Challenge aims to raise money to help feed those affected by the coronavirus with proceeds benefiting Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry and America’s Food Fund, which directly benefits Feed America and World Central Kitchen.
Eddie Vedder is the latest celebrity to get involved in the All In Challenge and is offering up a dream prize for a Pearl Jam fan.
Nominated by Laura Dern, Vedder detailed the prize in a video from his Seattle home. The prize package includes the opportunity to attend the Pearl Jam show of their choice, take part in the band’s soundcheck, and meet with Vedder to give input on song selections for the evening’s setlist.
During the show, the winner gets to watch the first half of the show from seats and the front of the venue. For the second half of the concert, the winner gets to hang alongside the band’s crew and watch the show from the side of the stage. “As long as you’re up there with the crew, I figure, heck, maybe you could bring out a guitar for me, we could put you to work a little bit,” Vedder said.
Vedder also offered fans “a few hits of my wine” or the possibility of getting the winner their own bottle.
Finally, the winner will get to come out on stage and have the audience sing “Happy Birthday” to them, even if it isn’t their birthday. At the end of the day, the winner will also take home a signed Fender Telecaster guitar.
