My Chemical Romance Keeps Adding Reunion Shows

How big will the comeback be?

My Chemical Romance has added a few more shows to their 2020 schedule, giving fans hope that their reunion will have staying power.

Less than a week after the band announced their first concert in seven years at the Shrine in LA, they started announcing dates overseas. MCR will perform as part of the Download Festival in Melbourne, Sydney and Japan in March. They’ll also play with Jimmy Eat World in New Zealand the same month.

My Chemical Romance hasn’t revealed the intended scope of their comeback – whether there will be a full-fledged tour or new music – but they have acknowledged all the love they’ve received since making the announcement.

“It is truly unbelievable to us the happiness we have experienced over the past two days,” the band Tweeted on Friday. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the warm welcome back. We truly did not expect this. See you soon. Xoxo, MCR.”
