A decade after first arriving on the scene, Local Natives continue to expand their sound while still employing some of the methods that brought them success at the start. Taking their recording experience back to basics and collaborating like never before, the group returned in April for their excellent fourth album, Violet Street.
Now the band is continuing the celebration of their latest LP with a RADIO.COM LIVE event coming to you from the HD Radio Sound Space in Los Angeles. Join us as the band performs songs from Violet Street and more, right here and on the RADIO.COM app.
In an effort to reconnect, Local Natives spent a year recording Violet Street, getting back to the idea of playing off of each other in a singular creative space. Much like the way they recorded their debut, Gorilla Manor, the group took this communal environment and mixed in complete artistic freedom and new technology to find something sonically timeless.
Local Natives will go back on the road in May, but first you can watch an exclusive performance and interview with the band right here and on the RADIO.COM app.
