If any musical rule were to be broken, especially after months of quarantine, that would be the "No Stairway" guitar store rule made famous in the '90s Mike Myers flick Wayne's World.
Annie Clark (St. Vincent) recently took to her Instagram to share a clip of herself "fumbling" through the classic Led Zeppelin opus to give those watching that all too familiar feeling while music stores remain shut due to stay-at-home measures.
"I thought you might have missed the sound of someone fumbling through 'stairway to heaven.' (Not pictured but honorable mention, “smoke on the water” “sweet home Alabama” “black dog” “where ever I may roam”)," she captioned the video, sharing the moment with fellow guitar store staples Metallica, Deep Purple, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
"Love to all my guitar players out there. I know. I miss it too."
