There are never enough different ways to hear “Old Town Road” – the genre-bending song that has been everywhere this summer. The latest incarnation of the track found Billy Ray Cyrus on-stage at the Grand Ole Opry with Mason Ramsey on vocals.
The 12-year-old appeared on a remix of “Old Town Road” with Young Thug and delighted the crowd with his performance. Billy Ray also shared a more intimate run-through of the song during a rehearsal back-stage.
Another Cyrus was back-stage as well, and Miley couldn’t pass on the chance for her own impromptu duet with Mason. She shared a video of the moment with the comical caption: "I’m gonna take @lilhankwilliams to the old town road .... cause he can’t drive yet."
Ramsey was a viral sensation of his own when video of him yodeling a Hank Williams song in a Walmart made the rounds. He just graduated to his first EP Twang which was released last week.
