The future of live music remains uncertain, but Live Nation is bringing it back for their first ever drive-in concert series.
The series takes place July 10-12 in Indianapolis, Nashville, and St. Louis featuring a headlining performance from Brad Paisley in each city.
The live entertainment company had promised to deliver a variety of entertainment options ensuring proper social distancing. Now, their efforts are coming to fruition as the company will be throwing their first series of drive-in concerts.
Like other drive-in concerts that have taken place up to this point, Live Nation will be taking extensive measures to ensure the safety of fans, artists, crews, and staff.
Tickets will be sold per vehicle and will allow attendees their own personal tailgate space. Each space is 18 by 27 feet with a 9 foot space to park your vehicle, a 9 foot “tailgate space” where you can hang with your group, and a 9 foot space that is blocked off to ensure proper distance from other groups.
Each space is about the size of a two car garage with Live Nation permitting fans to bring their own chairs, food, and drink.
Paisley will be kicking off the St. Louis series at The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on July 10th. El Monstero follows up on July 11th and Nelly wraps up the weekend on July 20th with a special 20th anniversary celebration of his album Country Grammar.
Jon Pardi kicks off the Nashville version at the Nissan Stadium parking lot with Brad Paisley following up on the 11th and Darius Rucker performing on July 12th.
Yacht Rock Revue will kick off the weekend at the Ruoff Music Center in Indianapolis as Jon Pardi follows up on the 11th and Brad Paisley rounding out the weekend on the 12th.
