The Rolling Stones are the latest to postpone tour dates, as coronavirus concerns continue to limit events around the world. The band was set to kick off their No Filter North American tour on May 8 in San Diego, but it is now delayed indefinitely in the face of the global crisis.
“We’re hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour,” the band shared in a statement. “We are sorry to all the fans who were looking forward to it as much as we were, but the health and safety of everyone has to take priority. We will all get through this together – and we’ll see you very soon.”
The No Filter tour was set to run 15 dates across the US and Canada, ending in July in Atlanta. Concert promoter AEG is instructing fans to hold on to tickets and await further information.
Last year’s edition of the No Filter Tour from The Rolling Stones was also delayed by heart surgery for frontman Mick Jagger, but it was ultimately a success as the band sold out stadiums across the country. "We just want to keep going" Keith Richards told RADIO.COM in 2018. "Just line us up and get us ready."
