The Academy of Country Music has announced a star studded list of performers for their 55th annual ACM Awards show, spanning across musical venues all over Nashville.
Artists like Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Combs are set to perform at a mix of large and intimate venues including the Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium, and the Bluebird Café. Other artists announced for the big night include Gabby Barrett, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Old Dominion and Thomas Rhett featuring Jon Pardi.
Old Dominion announced their performance to followers during a live stream chat on Instagram. Band members shared virtual drinks and got excited for their September 16 show. They also hinted at possible news surrounding the third anniversary of their beloved second album Happy Endings.
Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi announced their performance with the duo’s signature gritty and fun attitude. “Sept 16th is going to be a fun one!” Rhett captioned with an Instagram video of the pair partying to promote their performance.
The Academy also recently announced an official date for their 2021 show. The 56th ACM awards are set to air LIVE on Sunday, April 18, 2021 on CBS. More information including who will be holding down hosting duties, the show's performers and the location will all be announced in the months leading up to the big day.
