Carrie Underwood made her return to the Grand Ole Opry this week, singing a few of her biggest songs and performing alongside her childhood idol.

The “Southbound” singer called it a “full circle moment” on Instagram, standing next to Country heartthrob Bryan White.

“Growing up, I was a member of the Bryan White Fan Club and even sang to him in a meet and greet,” she wrote. “Tonight, I sang WITH him in the circle.”

Both Underwood and White are Oklahoma natives, with Carrie calling out her crush during her acceptance speech for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2018. “I'm sorry honey, but when I was growing up, I was pretty sure I was gonna marry that guy," she said to husband Mike Fisher from the stage, referring to White. “But, you know, it all worked out. His wife is absolutely amazing. They’re like the perfect family. I love you. It’s going well so far.”

White also shared the moment with Carrie on Instagram writing, “This one was one I won’t forget. Thank you Carrie Underwood for having me. It meant a lot to me. So fun.”
