The holidays are here, and that means it’s time for family and food. You can’t pick your family, but you can certainly decide what you’re serving up this season. We got together with some of our favorite Country artists, and asked them each to share their favorite holiday recipe. From Luke Bryan and his chicken and rice soup to Jennifer Nettles and her special Brussels sprouts, almost everyone had something to offer. Almost.
“I make a great reservation,” Keith Urban says in the exclusive RADIO.COM video above. “You should not let me in the kitchen.”

Luke Combs detailed a different delicacy, a time-honored treat that is as diverse as it is delicious. “It’s gonna sound weird, but hear me out,” he cautions. “It’s like a stuffed bread. It can have anything you want in it - broccoli and cheese, pizza, ham and cheese.”
“It’s called a Hot Pocket,” the CMA Award winner says confidently. “Two minutes. Holiday meal. Ready to go.”
Seems simple enough, but Jimmie Allen might be the one who has it all figured out. “When it comes to my holiday recipes, it typically involves a plate and a fork,” Allen says. “Cause I cook nothing, but I eat errythang.”
“Mrs. Yearwood has started this thing called leftover casserole,” raves Garth. “At Thanksgiving you always eat, and then there’s that second meal. Well she’s now made a casserole that has layers of all of it. All in one casserole that you just put in the oven, bake it, and come out. Everything from cranberry sauce to turkey to mashed potatoes, it’s all in the same dish – and it’s fabulous.”
That sounds amazing, but so does this idea from another of our favorite Country couples. Morgan Evans tells us that he and his wife Kelsea Ballerini also have a favorite dish for the holidays. It’s a margarita.
“I’m really good at making them,” smiles Evans. “My wife’s really good at drinking them.”
“You look surprised but I take this thing very seriously. Come over, let’s make margaritas.”
