Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley, Wife Donate K9 to Police

While Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife are making babies, the other half of the country duo and his wife are donating puppies.

Brian and Brittney Kelley gifted a German Shepherd named Sarge to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department over the weekend. They made the presentation before the inaugural FGL Fest.

Brian and Brittney first met Sarge when he was 10-weeks-old last year, but knew he was destined for important work.

“We are so excited that Sarge will live a life of keeping people and his officers safe,” they said in a joint statement. “Being able to give back is something in our hearts and last night in Indianapolis was a moment we won’t forget.”

Sarge will reportedly be used as an explosive detective dog and the department is thrilled to welcome its new member.

“Thank you, Florida Georgia Line for IMPD's newest K9 partner! #WeAreIMPD," the department wrote on Facebook.

Florida Georgia Line released their 4th LP Can’t Say I Ain’t Country in February. Kelley and Hubbard took RADIO.COM inside the album in our interview earlier this year. They called it more “traditional Nashville.” Watch more below.
