Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, are on cloud nine over baby number two. The couple welcomed a son – Luca Reed Hubbard – into the world on Monday.
According to People, Luca arrived early in the morning at a Nashville Hospital and checked in at 8lbs 11oz and measured 20.5 inches long.
“Words can’t describe the overwhelming emotions that I experienced last night as we witnessed the miracle of life,” Hubbard wrote on Instagram while sharing a picture. “I couldn’t be more proud of my amazing wife @hayle_hubbard through this whole journey. She’s an absolute angel and meant to be a mother. I thank God for answering our prayers and bringing Luca into the world peacefully and smoothly. I didn’t think life could get any better but it just did.”
Tyler and Hayley also have a toddler named Olivia Rose together. Mom told People the meaning behind her new baby boy’s name.
“Luca is a name we loved and it means ‘bringer of light,’” she said. “It also reminds us of Italy, which is one of our happy places. Reed is Tyler’s middle name, and we wanted Luca to have a little piece of Tyler in his name.”
Luca was born at the perfect time in dad’s schedule – in between dates on Florida Georgia Line’s Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour. It continues Thursday in Clarkston, MI and runs through November 12 in Las Vegas. Dan + Shay and Morgan Wallen are on-board as openers, with Canaan Smith and Hardy appearing on select dates. FGL released Can’t Say I Ain’t Country in February. Their fourth studio album features the singles “Simple” and “Talk You Out of It.” Hubbard and Bryan Kelley told RADIO.COM where the album title came from in our interview earlier this year.
