HOME SCHOOLED: Matt Stell Can't Get Over His Dust Discovery While in Quarantine

Inside the house of the ‘Prayed For You’ singer

We’ve learned a lot about ourselves over the last week of “social distancing” and self-quarantine. Matt Stell is no different, spending time inside his home more in the past few days than he has in the past year.

The “Pray For You” singer was set to give us a lesson from inside his home for our “Home Schooled” series, as artists serve up tips and advice from inside their own place. However, Stell seems to be the one looking for learning.

“Since I’ve been home I’ve chiefly been trying to solve a mystery,” he shares in the exclusive video above. “I don’t know where dust comes from.”

“I’ve never spent this many days home, and I’m just hanging out around my house, and it’s just dusty,” he says exasperated. “I don’t know what it’s made of. I went on Wikipedia and it’s like pollen, and skin cells, and meteorite debris.”

The Arkansas star is confused by how so much dust can build up with him not around. “People must live here when I’m not here,” he adds, bewildered.

While Stell gets to the bottom of this timeless question, he also is encouraging us all to remain “social distancing” for the safety of everyone.

“A lot of people are sacrificing a whole lot right now to keep their neighbors safe, so I just want to say thank you for doing your part. I know it’s really tough, but hopefully good times are ahead for us.”
