The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has announced a brand new series called ACM Wine Down Wednesday. The virtual 5-week series will take place, you guessed it, every Wednesday.
This week’s ACM Wine Down Wednesday concert features New Female Artist nominee Tenille Townes. Townes will be playing a virtual concert beginning at 7 PM ET this Wednesday on both her and the ACM Facebook pages.
Townes’ performance is the second in the ACM Wine Down Wednesday series as Carly Pearce performed in the first episode. You can watch her performance right now on the ACM’s website.
The ACM Wine Down Wednesday series features intimate performances from rising female Country stars. Each episode features a nominee for the ACM New Female Artist of the Year.
Following Townes’ performance this Wednesday, Lainey Wilson will perform on July 22, Maddie & Tae on July 29, and MacKenzie Porter wraps up the series on August 5.
The series is in partnership with 1000 Stories Bourbon Barrel-Aged Wine with the winery donating $2,000 on behalf of each artist towards the ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund. The fund contributes to individuals in the Country Music community who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and are currently awaiting relief assistance.
