It’s widely known Luke Combs loves two things in this world; beer and wife Nicole Hocking. Imagine his unbridled joy when Miller Lite delivered a beer can cake replica to the couple’s wedding.
People reports Luke and Nicole said “I do” during a private south Florida ceremony at their home. The “Beer Never Broke My Heart” singer got everything and more with the can-shaped cake made to look like a frosty vanilla Miller Lite. Text on the cake reads “Nicole & beer never broke my heart,” a fun twist on Luke’s famous lyrics.
Combs took to Instagram and let his fans know the love he feels for Nicole. "Yesterday was the best day of my life. I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever.” The couple met back in 2016 while attending a singer-songwriter festival in Key West, Florida. Two years later, they got engaged near the same location.
Despite his tour being grounded by the coronavirus, the Country superstar has stayed incredibly active on social media. Combs has hosted many live streaming events via his Facebook page.
He rescheduled his remaining tour dates until 2021. Luke is keeping his fans in the know, tweeting out renewed dates and personal message. “Never in a million years did I think the show I played in Europe this past March would be the last headlining show I’d play this year. Believe me, I’m just as bummed as y’all are... Playing shows for y’all is what I love to do, but I want y’all to be completely safe…”
