Luke Combs Misses the Old Ways on New Song, 'Six Feet Apart'

Debuted during his live stream

On Wednesday night, Luke Combs returned to his home studio to share another live stream with fans, taking requests and staying connected with everyone around the world, despite the social distancing.

As one of the first Country stars to take things online during this uncertain time as a way to reach out to those he can’t perform in front of, the “Beer Never Broke My Heart” singer continued the trend this week by giving us an intimate performance and even a new song.

“New song I wrote yesterday with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder called ‘Six Feet Apart.’ It's about the current times and us looking forward to the day all of this is over,” he shared in a message on Facebook, before the tune about the old ways and old days. With a hopeful eye forward, Combs captures the emotions of so many of us right now, missing the closeness and the simple things that might have been taken for granted, but remaining motivated by knowing that this too shall pass.

You can check out the full performance from Luke Combs here, and our running list of other performances you can live stream during this time here.

Overall Combs talks about how much he misses the road and his fans, but it’s been a very productive few weeks for the CMA Award-winning star, penning new songs and delivering them immediately to those that need it most.
