Combs will have plenty to talk about before the CMAs, between his sold out Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour and his new album. The singer’s sophomore effort is one of the most anticipated LPs of the year, already packed with hits and fan favorites.
“The song I’m most excited to play live would be ‘Every Little Bit Helps,’ a song I wrote with my friends James McNair and Chase McGill,” Combs says in the exclusive clip above. “Just a fun song. A really fun song to write. The production ended up being really awesome and really full, so I’m looking forward to getting the guys learning that one and getting the tempo going.”
In total, What You See Is What You Get features 17 songs from Luke Combs, including “1,2 Many” featuring Brooks & Dunn and “Beer Never Broke My Heart.” Combs’ The Prequel EP was released in June and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with all five tracks charting on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Top 25. It’s the first time that has happened since Johnny Cash pulled it off 60 years ago in 1959.
