RADIO.COM has teamed up with the Children’s Cancer Association and MyMusicRX, to bring questions from kids facing cancer or other serious illnesses directly to their favorite artists. Music’s biggest stars like Luke Combs, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, and more each took time to answer these amazing young people, and we’re proud to share it with you.
Via video, we connect them for an exclusive personal response. It all happens with the help of MyMusicRX, who for over 24 years has provided one-on-one music experiences just like this to relieve some of the stress and anxiety of being in the hospital.
Kyra’s question is for Garth Brooks, and it’s a good one. “What is your favorite place to perform live?” she asks the Country icon.
With record-smashing performances around the globe from stadiums to dive bars, can the “Friends In Low Places” singer actually choose just one?
“Kyra, if you ever get the chance, go to Dublin, Ireland,” Garth stars passionately. “They love music, they worship music over there, they breathe it in and out. It’s the best place hands down to play live music.”
“If you can’t get across the ocean, go to Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado,” he adds. “Unbelievable fans there. The best ever.”
“And then if you want to go to the place they call the loudest stadium on the planet, go to the University of Oregon where the Ducks play. That place, you’ll have to hold your ears it’s so loud.”
Adding to our bucket list, Denver, Oregon, Dublin – anything else?
“Kyra if you want to sneak into a dive bar that you’re not old enough to get into yet, The Dusty Armadillo, I’m telling you right now that place knows how to have fun.”
