Tim McGraw Shares Sweet Family Moments in 'I Called Mama' Video

A touching tribute to all Mamas

Mommy! Tim McGraw made us cry. Well… it’s not what you think, on Tuesday the Country crooner released the music video for “I Called Mama.”

The touching music video is a shining tribute to all mothers, with special features from Tim’s own mama Betty Trimble, and wife and mother to his kids, singer Faith Hill.

Throughout the video you see photos and videos of McGraw’s fans with their mothers. With Tim even surprising one lucky mom on video chat. The video has its fair share of happy moments, with countless smiles and hugs. But Mr. McGraw sure knows how to tug at those heart strings, one clip in particular really got those tears flowing, showing a woman introducing her newborn baby to her mother through a glass door. Presumably due to COVID-19 pandemic precautions.

About a week before Tim released the song he shared the following message, “Now more than ever, I’ve been reminded of the importance of human connection in our lives. 'I Called Mama' is a song about connecting back to what grounds us when life shakes us up. We should all call Mama more often… or whoever those people in our lives are that keep us connected to what really matters. This song really hits home for me, and I hope it does for you, too.”

Oh you bet, it hits home Tim. Watch his performance “I Called Mama” and more on RADIO.COM LIVE above. And check out the offial music video below. We’ve already seen both, so brb, gonna go call our mama.
