With her mind on her twins, Hillary Scott wrote “Let It Be Love” as a message to her little girls. “We just kind of wrote this song about what we feel when we’re angry, and when we feel like we’re comparing ourselves to other people, feeling envy. What it’s like when we lose humility and just all of these different big things that we wrestle with as humans, and just wanting my girls as they grow up to know that it’s okay to feel and wrestle with all of those things, but to choose love ultimately as the feeling that you lead with.”
