Arnold Schwarzenegger and His Horses Urge Fans to Self-Isolate in Coronavirus PSA

Arnold Schwarzenegger is practicing social distancing alongside his furry friends.

The “Terminator” star told fans on social media that he is doing okay, and he is isolating himself. The former California governor is spending time with his two miniature horses, Lulu and Whiskey.

He posted a video to Twitter with a message to Americans, especially to those who are 65-years-old and older. Schwarzenegger urges people with chronic medical conditions to stay home.

He captioned the post, “See, the important thing is that you stay at home,” Schwarzenegger said while feeding carrots to his horses. “Because there is a curfew now. No one is allowed out, especially someone who is, like, 72 years old. After you’re 65, you’re not allowed out of the house anymore in California.”

He said that hanging out with his horses is much more than going outside.

The actor also posted a hand-washing tutorial on his Twitter page. His dog, Cherry, was featured in the video. He captioned the video, “Everyone should wash their hands at least 20 seconds, and do it as many times as possible.”

The video has over 600,000 views on Twitter.

“I wash my hands a minimum of 50 times a day. Anything that I do, I wash my hands over and over and over again,” the actor said.

Schwarzenegger is one of several celebrities who are promoting hand-washing on social media.
