Chrissy Teigen is pulling back on her work commitments after previously announcing her pregnancy is high risk.
Earlier this week, the 34-year-old disclosed she was postponing her third “Cravings” cookbook, which she had been working on with recipe developer Adeena Sussman.
“Today I had to postpone the cookbook indefinitely and send @AdeenaSussman alllll the way back to Tel Aviv,” Teigen wrote in a tweet, adding that she also stopped production on her Quibi series “Chrissy’s Court.” “Baby cannot do it. I am devastated.”
The news comes after Teigen, who is pregnant with her third child, shared she was having pregnancy complications.
"My placenta sucks. It's always been kind of the bad part of my pregnancies with Luna. With Miles, it just stopped feeding him, it stopped taking care of him. I was stealing all his food because I was getting huge but he wasn't getting big at all. He had to come out early and Luna had to come out early. I was induced both times," Teigen said in an Instagram video.
But she assured her followers that her unborn baby is healthy.
"Everything’s good," she added. "I’m feeling really good, but my placenta’s really, really weak and it’s causing me to really bleed a lot. So basically, it’s just pretty high risk."
It was while detailing her medical condition that Teigen mistakenly revealed if she was having a girl or a boy.
“ But it's so weird because the baby's really really healthy. And he's big, he's probably...oops. I'm stupid," she hilariously said in the clip. She captioned the post, "hahahaha might as well tell you."
So it appears she and husband John Legend are expecting a boy.
The A-list couple already share two children: daughter Luna, 4, and son Miles, 2.
