Chrissy Teigen’s entire family is mourning the loss of baby Jack.

After the cookbook author posted that she and husband John Legend lost their baby boy, her mother, Vilailuck Teigen, publicly grieved the loss on Instagram.

"My heart aches love you so much baby Jack 👼🏻❤️❤️,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a slideshow.

One of the videos shows her crying in the hospital after getting the news. The other two photos captured her holding the premature child wrapped in a hospital blanket.

Fans of the Legend-Teigen family shared their love and support in the comments section of the post. Others sent their condolences.

A few even thanked Chrissy’s mother, who goes by the name of Pepper on social media, for sharing such a personal moment.

“Thank you and your family for sharing such a real moment with us. Life isn’t all rosey and it is moments like these that also connect us as human beings. My prayers go out to you,” one user commented.

Chrissy and John announced that they were expecting their third child back in August in a music video for his song “Wild.”

The model has been very open about her pregnancy journey and updated fans about everything including complications.

The 34-year-old revealed that she suffered bleeding for the past month during her pregnancy.

“But I was always, always bleeding,” she explained. “I’m about halfway through pregnancy and the blood has been going on for about a month, maybe a little bit less than a month. We’re talking like more than your period girls, it’s definitely not spotting. A lot of people spot but it’s usually fine. Mine was a lot.”

A few days later, she updated fans about her “scary morning” following two blood transfusions. “Huge clot, almost save-worthy. The scramble to hear the heartbeat seemed like hours. I never thought I’d relief sigh so much in my liiiiife,” she wrote on Instagram.

A day later, she shared the tragic loss of her son with the world.

"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before," she posted alongside photos from her hospital bed, with John by her side. "We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough."

"We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever."
