Dave Chappelle, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, was photographed standing next to Elon Musk and Joe Rogan just before learning he had contracted the virus.
None of the notable celebrities in the photo, which was shared by Rogan on Wednesday, were seen wearing a mask.
Chappelle was expected to perform a comedy show alongside Rogan on Thursday through Sunday at Stubbs Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas. The shows have since been cancelled.
In the photo, billionaire Elon Musk is standing next to his partner, singer Grimes, who has a mask pulled below her face. KVUE reports that both Musk and Grimes received COVID-19 tests before entering the location and tested negative.
Grimes tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month.
Rogan, 53, apologized to his fans for the last minute cancellation and said the shows will be rescheduled. He also elaborated on his health status.
"Because people are asking, I was not exposed to the person who had covid and I have tested negative every day this week. Also, the person that gave covid to Dave was NOT Elon’s partner, Grimes," Rogan said, according to TMZ.
Chappelle’s representative, Carla Sims, has confirmed that the comedian has been quarantining since testing positive.
The photo was taken alongside various other celebrities including Michelle Wolf, Donnell Rawlings and Ron White.
Sims told the outlet that no one in who is seen in the photo has tested positive for the virus yet.
Earlier this week, Chappelle was spotted in downtown Austin after he photobombed a newlywed couple's "first look" photoshoot.
The groom "showed his emotion right away, and when they hugged, people inside of the restaurant cheered loudly," their wedding photographer revealed.
