Gabrielle Union has the fashion sense of a baller.
Union wore the custom-made sleeveless RXCH gown that featured a black and white childhood photo of the former NBA star patterned throughout to the live taping of “America’s Got Talent.”
"Future so bright, gotta wear Wades,” the AGT judge captioned a family photo of herself in the dress alongside her husband and their 9-month-old daughter, Kaavia James.
Aside from always slaying the fashion game, Union is also working towards normalizing bringing babies on red carpets and production sets in Hollywood.
She recently detailed how her “L.A.’s Finest” co-star and fellow working mom Jessica Alba helped the set of their new series become friendlier to the demands that come with raising babies.
“When I came back from maternity leave, Jess made sure my trailer had everything that hers had so Kaav could come right to set,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “No one’s had to make that crazy, crazy sacrifice of going back to work and just, like, leaving your kid.”
And whether on her Spectrum series or a future project, the actress wants to makes sure mothers are portrayed in their true light.
“Watching television now, I can absolutely tell when a man wrote the role of a woman being a mother,” Union added. “It’s either she’s Madonna Mary perfect or has some super-human strength...But there is no nuance.”
