George Clooney’s 3-year-old son steals the spotlight during virtual interview

Even George Clooney has moments that all parents in 2020 can relate to.

The 59-year-old actor was recently caught off guard when his 3-year-old son interrupted a virtual interview.

Clooney was conducting an interview with GQ Magazine in honor of being named GQ’s 2020 Icon of the Year.

While there is no video of the sweet moment, interviewer Zach Baron reported that Clooney responded to his toddler saying, “You’ve got chocolate on your face. Do you know what? What is that? Did you have chocolate?”

Clooney has 3-year-old twins with human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney, named Alexander and Ella.

Like most parents, the Academy-Award winner has been spending his lockdown with his two children. During the GQ interview, Clooney even admitted that haircuts have become an at-home activity.

“I cut my own hair and I cut my kids' hair and I'm mopping it and vacuuming and doing the laundry and doing the dishes every day,” George Clooney told GQ. “I feel like my mother in 1964. You know, I understand why she burned her bra.”

The adorable interruption comes as the media gets a second wind of a story from 2013 claiming Clooney gifted 14 of his friends with $1 million each. The actor confirmed that he handed 14 of his friends a briefcase filled with $1 million in cash.

Clooney is currently directing a new baseball movie ‘Calico Joe’ inspired by Ray Chapman, the only MLB player killed by a pitch during a game. The new movie, based on the book of the same title by John Gisham, is also being directed by music legend Bob Dylan.

George, Amal, and their two children currently live in Lake Como, Italy.
