Carrie Underwood and Julia Roberts Welcome Hoda Kotb Back to 'Today' With Selfie Vids

“Today” is the day for Hoda Kotb.

This morning, the co-host made her return to the “Today” show studios at Rockefeller Center after going on maternity leave in April.

The mother of two was reunited with her co-host Savanna Guthrie, who was thrilled to have her back.

In an opening segment clip posted by the “Today” Twitter account, the reunion between the two was glorious.

“Welcome to ‘Today’ on this Tuesday morning,” Koda beamed into the camera. “Can I say it again?” she asked Guthrie.

“Agh,” her co-host exclaimed in joyous relief.

“I missed saying that,” Kotb said with a big smile.

“We missed having you say it,” Guthrie retorted. “I can confirm she’s real, she’s with us. Hoda is back. Everyone is smiling so much just to see your face.”

The program’s Twitter account also compiled some warm welcome back words from friends of the show.

“I miss you and your gorgeous face on TV every morning,” said country star Carrie Underwood.

“Hey Hoda, it’s Drew,” said New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in his laconic message to the co-host. “Missed you. So glad you’re back.”

“You got a couple of lucky daughters there to have you as a mother,” actress Julia Roberts told the returned host.

In late August, Kotb announced she would be returning to the program.

The return marks the conclusion of a maternity leave that began back in April when Kotb adopted a baby girl, named Hope Catherine.

"It’s a girl! It’s a girl," Kotb said on a phone call to the program announcing the adoption. "I can’t believe that I’m here! I’m so happy to be here."

Later that month, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram with her family. The adorable pic featured herself next to her partner Joel Schiffman bottle feeding the baby, and Kotb’s two-year-old daughter Haley Joy standing nearby.
