Jennifer Lopez is a little closer to walking down the aisle again.
The elegant soiree was held at the Bel Air home of Oscar-winning songwriter Carole Bayer Sager and was attended by the couple’s close friends and family including Leah Remini, Ryan Seacrest and Lopez’s manager Benny Medina.
After a sit-down dinner of pumpkin squash tortellini and potato crusted sea bass, singer Shelea serenaded the couple by performing “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” by Michael Jackson, reported Page Six.
Lopez shared a few snaps from the evening including one kissing A-Rod which she captioned: “Thank you Carol and Bob for the most beautifully elegant night...we love you 🌸 💗#engagementparty.”
In another pic, the “Hustlers” star can be seen sharing a tender moment with Rodgriguez, her daughter Emme and his daughter Ella, which she captioned: “💕💕💕 9/27/19 💕💕💕.”
Lopez’s son Max and the former Yankee star’s other daughter Natasha were also in attendance.
It was back on March 9th when the 44-year-old proposed by giving the “Jenny from the Block” songstress a 15-carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring, estimated to be worth between $1 million and $5 million.
The couple have not revealed a wedding date, but have let a few details slip in the last few weeks.
Lopez disclosed her son Max will be walking her down the aisle, while Rodriguez hinted the location of the wedding will require “a long flight.”
The question also remains if they will marry before or after Lopez’s highly-anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show performance alongside Shakira on February 2, 2020 in Miami.
