There's nothing like "Friends" to help you get through the tough quarantine days. Show stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox tend to agree.
In a recent interview with Aniston and Lisa Kudrow for a virtual Variety reunion, Aniston revealed that she recently indulged in some blooper reels with former co-star Cox.
When Kudrow asked Aniston when the last time was that she watched the show, Aniston replied, "I love stumbling on a 'Friends' episode. This one time I was with Courteney, and we were trying to find something to reference, an old 'Friends' thing."
"And then we stumbled on - there's bloopers online - and we sat there at the computer like two nerds watching these bloopers laughing at ourselves," she continued.
Kudrow revealed that she's guilty of doing the same. "I've done it, too. I've done that, hours watching bloopers." The two ladies then reminisced about one scene in particular that lent itself to some hysterical bloopers.
During season 7, Ross (David Schwimmer) learns to play the bagpipes while Phoebe (Kudrow) attempts to sing along. "The bagpipes," Aniston begins, "Where you started to sing full 100%-sounding like the bagpipe - I couldn't hold it together. No one could hold it together."
Still, despite many a moment indulging in blooper reels, Kudrow reveals that she doesn't actually watch the show. "I'm still not watching it in the hopes that one day we sit down and watch them together," she shares.
Fans continue to wait for the day when a reunion special with their favorite "Friends" cast members will drop. While no release date has been announced, HBO Max has targeted an August shoot start.
