When the summer heat gets too hot and you don’t have a pool, take a tip from Jennifer Garner and build a dunk tank.
The "Dallas Buyers Club" star showed off her carpentry talents on Instagram as she got busy building a DIY dunk tank in her backyard.
In the video, the actress showed off a step-by-step construction process. She captioned it: “Sometimes … you need a dunk tank.”
After building the contraption, Garner tested it out on herself.
As the person behind the camera effortlessly hit the target with a ball, the bucket doused the 48-year-old with water.
Garner shrieked as the cold water hit her before turning to the camera and wickedly asking, “where are my kids?”
Garner shares three kids, Samuel, 8, Seraphina, 11, and Violet, 14, with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
Fans fled to the comments section to compliment her on her construction skills.
“Who knew you were so freakin crafty,” one fan commented.
Another loved how independent Garner was, writing, “Who says a women needs a man! You go girl!”
A third commenter said Garner was more than a triple threat because she’s “beautiful, funny, and can use power tools and cook.”
The comment likely refers to Garner’s “Pretend Cooking Show,” which she hosted on her Instagram during quarantine.
On Tuesday, Garner got a bit more serious and emotional when talking about homeschooling her kids during an Instagram Live with Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts.
“They’re so lucky. … We have broadband, we have excellent teachers who can teach over Zoom — that is one in a million possibility in this world — and yet, it’s also a depressing one,” she said, per US Weekly.
“What is this year full of transitions gonna look like for kids, for my family? How can I keep joy in learning for them or help them just continue to find their resilience? That’s where I am today,” she continued, echoing what many parents and teachers are likely feeling as the debate whether or not to resume in-person classes in the fall wages on.
