People will do anything to get into one of Kate Hudson’s parties.
The “Bride Wars” star recalled how she and her older brother Oliver Hudson once threw a bash so epic at their mother Goldie Hawn’s house that even Tom Cruise risked injury to attend, despite not being invited.
“I’m standing at the door making sure that people who aren’t supposed to be at the party aren’t coming in — there’s like 400 people at my parent’s house,” the 40-year-old said during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Little did she know one of the party crashers was a fellow A-list actor.
“I’m kind of freaking out a little and I see someone scaling, literally scaling, an eight-foot gate at my parents’ house,” she continued. “They come off and they do a back handspring and pose and I’m about to yell at this guy, and it’s Tom Cruise.”
While Kate had no idea Cruise was coming, she rewarded his death-defying stunt by inviting him inside.
"He is 'Mission: Impossible,'" she said. "It was wild. I'm not kidding."
The mother of three also disclosed how she is considering expanding her family.
“I don’t know if I’m done,” she confessed to DeGeneres. “I’m in that place of like, right now, Rani is at that age where you’re like, ‘I want another baby.’ But once she gets like 4 or 5, you’re like, ‘I feel like my life is kinda back a little bit and they’re kinda in a groove.’”
The “Deepwater Horizon” actress and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa share 16-month-old daughter Rani. She’s also mother to sons Ryder, 16, and Bingham, 8, from previous relationships.
Kate will next appear on the big screen in pop star Sia’s feature film directorial debut “Music,” which will hit theaters later this year.
