Most kids' first word is usually "Mama" or "Dada." But when you're a royal baby, you're exposed to a richer vocabulary.

Kate Middleton's youngest son Louis has a more refined lexical taste. The Duchess of Cambridge shared that one of Prince Louis' first words had to do with a cookbook.

In a BBC Christmas special, Middleton said that the former judge of "The Great British Bake Off" also "has been the subject of some of the first words spoken" by her son, according to TODAY.

"One of Louis' first words was 'Mary,' because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf," Middleton said.

"And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say 'That's Mary Berry' ... so he would definitely recognize you if he saw you today," she added.

Berry's recipes are very popular with Prince William and Kate's family. The Duchess of Cambridge shared that her children will often help make dishes using Berry's recipes.

"Yes, I really enjoy it,'' she said. "Again, for them to be creative, for them to try and be as independent as possible with it."

Earlier this month, Middleton revealed her youngest child is already talking and never wants to leave her side.

“He keeps saying, ‘Me, me, me.’ And he wants to come everywhere with me!’" Middleton said.
