Leighton Meester has proven that she has no shame around calling out Instagram trolls in front of her millions of followers.
With the coronavirus pandemic still marching on and celebrities stuck at home, many are finding creative ways to connect with their fans using social media "live" features. During a live session, viewers are able to include their thoughts in a livestream of comments that flood the video screen.
During an Instagram live session with her "Single Parents" costar Kimrie Lewis, Meester happened to catch the comment of one viewer who decided to comment on her apparent weight, E! News reports.
"Somebody just told me I got fat," Meester said. "That's really nice." She then proceeded to call out the body shamer by Instagram handle, singling the troll out and undoubtedly causing Meester superfans to come for him.
Upon hearing the remark, Lewis added, "That's not nice, you guys." The two were able to carry on with their chat as if no one had ever tried to dull their shine.
Meester is reportedly expecting her second child with husband Adam Brody. While the news has yet to be confirmed by the couple, photos of Meester began circulating on April 1st with an apparent baby bump on display.
The couple is famously very private, often skipping out on red carpets and press events. Harper's Bazaar even referred to the two as "one of Hollywood's most private couples."
Meester isn't the only celeb who comes for trolls who try to take her down. Kourtney Kardashian famously fired back at a troll who accused her of never working by saying she's focused on "making memories" with her kids.
