Mark Wahlberg and Dr. Oz are feuding over breakfast.
The actor and the television personality don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to the importance of eating a healthy morning meal.
Wahlberg believes breakfast is mandatory while Dr. Oz has been advocating for intermittent fasting.
They began publicly airing out their grievances on Instagram.
“Listen, we got beef now. You don’t want this smoke, trust me. If you wanna challenge me, I’ll come hung over, eat a big steak, and you can do your little 20 push-ups with one leg, your assisted pull-up, I’m telling you you’ll need a defibrillator when I’m done with you,” Walhberg said in a video directed at Oz which he captioned “food for thought.”
Wahlberg also added that there’s no way he could take any of his vitamins or supplements without eating first thing in the morning.
“You gotta have food. Food is your friend,” he added.
“Done deal! The alley behind the old warehouse. 11p. Tonight. Be there. Come alone. Let’s go!!! 😂,” Dr. Oz responded before posting his own video of himself doing 30 one-legged push-ups.
“I watched your video and heard the taunting … I would eat normally but I skip breakfast, I skip lunch. I feel stronger than ever because I’m intermittent fasting, which you should learn more about,” he said between push-ups. “The ball’s in your court, my friend. Anytime, anywhere … By the way, those pull-ups, they were real.”
He captioned the video, “Grab your defibrillator, @MarkWahlberg,” adding, “tag, you’re it.”
Wahlberg responded with a video of him shirtless and showing off his abs. He told the physician, “I’m coming for you, Dr. Oz. Now, we really got beef … Get that defibrillator I told you about. It’s about to go down.”
During the video, he also said he was going to work out before adding that he didn't even need to.
Oz quipped back in the comments stating, “I still don't see any working out here, buddy.”
He then officially responded on his Instagram page by addressing Wahlberg’s last video.
His response was filmed in a hospital and showed off a “real” defibrillator stating, “Hey Mark, I gotta say, nice muscles, but I still haven’t seen you work out yet. You keep talking about defibrillators. I’m sure you played with one in a movie once, but I’m here in the hospital, and I actually play with real devices that save real lives … when you work out with that full stomach of yours, I’m going to be defibrillating you."
Fans are on the edges of their seats hoping for a response from Wahlberg on this ongoing feud.
