No reservations, no rowdy crowds people, and no overpriced ride-sharing services.
That’s how Martha Stewart will be welcoming 2020.
While most people opt for a night on the town for New Year’s Eve, the queen of holidays and parties prefers a night in.
But given her penchant for party prep, her party of one will be anything but boring.
The brains behind “Martha Stewart Living” revealed her perfect recipe for ringing in the New Year: caviar and vodka.
“For me, the perfect New Year’s Eve involves: going to bed early, before midnight, and maybe some caviar and vodka,” Stewart told The Wall Street Journal in a recent interview.
While she admitted that good caviar is hard to come by these days, she gave a glowing endorsement to a company called Roe.
Stewart also revealed that her low-key yet fabulous celebration happens in the Big Apple, which is also where crowds from all over the world flock to see the annual ball drop in Times Square.
"Despite the traffic and despite the chaos, it has the most interesting food, people, innovations, and new companies," the businesswoman gushed explaining that it is her favorite city to spend the holidays.
The lifestyle icon’s upcoming months are already jam-packed as she revealed she’s planning the upcoming holiday issues of her magazine (she's working on St. Patrick's Day and Easter already) and gearing up for a trip to China.
With such a hectic lifestyle, it’s no wonder she’s prioritizing self-care in her down time.
