From a shared New York apartment to a mansion in California!
“Friends” actor Matthew Perry is selling his Malibu beach house.
The four-bedroom oceanfront property is listed on the market for $14.95 million, according to the New York Post.
The 5,500-square-foot home has a secured front gate and covered entry corridor. There’s also a steel-and-wood floating staircase, exposed ceiling beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows, according to the publication.
In addition to the four bedrooms, there’s 3½ bathrooms and a galley kitchen. Yes, the same kitchen in which he baked cookies pantless!
There are also some features that Perry’s iconic character Chandler Bing would appreciate including a ping-pong table, a home theater, a hot tub in a wood-decked courtyard, and two balconies with one boasting a fire pit for the chillier evenings.
If you’re wondering if the mansion is enough to entertain you during a pandemic then the answer is absolutely.
Perry sheltered-in-place inside the mansion and commented about seeing beachgoers from his patio in a May Instagram post.
“No masks, one foot apart. This is the thing that makes want to scream. Until I remember that I have a kickass Malibu house,” he wrote.
According to Variety, the home is listed by “Million Dollar Listing” star Josh Flagg and his husband, Bobby Boyd.
Perry purchased the property in 2011 when it was valued at $12 million, according to Mansion Global.
The 51-year-old actor is also selling a 9,3000-square-foot penthouse in Los Angeles, which has been on the market since last August. It was listed with the steep price tag of $35 million making it the city’s most expensive condo for sale.
Realtor.com reports it’s current listing price is down to $27 million.
Perry is looking to spend more time in New York, sources say, but for now, he’s in California anticipating the “Friends” reunion special for HBO, which has been postponed several times due to COVID.
