Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to embark their journey on their Royal Africa tour. The new parents brought their 4-month-old son Archie with them to South Africa for their first tour as a family of three.
Markle said that she and her husband are learning a new strength - being parents.
According to People, the couple participated in a group mindfulness activity at a beach alongside Waves for Change.
Waves for Change is an organization that works in communities that are affected by violence, poverty and conflict. It also focuses on mental health services that are often under-resourced.
Meghan and Harry took part in a “power hand” session where they both identified a strength and meditated about it. According to one of the royal reporters, a member of the group suggested that Meghan’s strength was dancing.
She disagreed, laughed and said her strength was parenting.
Meghan said it was parenting which she and her husband have been learning.
“He’s the best dad,” Meghan said. “Ah, she’s the best mum,” Harry replied. Harry looked into his wife’s eyes when he gave her the adorable comment.
The couple was later photographed kissing on the lips. Entertainment Tonight reported that showing affection is very uncommon occurrence for members of the royal family.
Markle then headed back to be with her son while Harry went off to another event.
