Meghan McCain, daughter of the late John McCain, is pregnant with her first child.

“The View” co-host and her husband Ben Domenech wed in 2017, reported ABC.

She posted a letter she wrote on Instagram announcing that she and her husband are going to be parents. She captioned the photo, “Personal news.”

"My husband Ben and I have been blessed to find out I'm pregnant," McCain wrote in her announcement on Instagram. "Although this isn't how I expected to announce my pregnancy, both we and our families are excited to share the news with you all."

McCain will continue co-hosting "The View" from her house. McCain said that she spoke with her doctors who advised her to remain at home to make sure that herself and the baby stay safe.

"Starting immediately, I'll be joining the millions of Americans who are self-isolating as a precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” McCain said.

"As a result, I will be appearing on 'The View” from home via satellite," McCain continued. "I'm fortunate that my employer, ABC, has allowed me and my co-hosts to work remotely. I am indebted to our producers and crew."

Fellow co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg are staying home out of an abundance of caution over concerns during the pandemic.
