While fans still haven’t gotten an inside look at the Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas wedding ceremony that happened in France this summer, one of their best wedding gifts came from Jonas’ younger brother, Frankie. He gave the happy couple action figures of themselves.
Toymaker Dano Brown of California took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal the secret project he had been working on – a couple of toy versions of both Turner and Jonas. The little figurines feature the two bundled up in ski jackets, imitating a photo of them rocking the same look.
The packaging reads, “G.I.JOPHIE.”
Brown goes into detail about the project in the caption, saying, “I was hired by Frankie Jonas to make this wedding gift for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. Obviously a huge deal for me.”
He goes on to say, “Frankie was super good to me and gave me total creative freedom aside from the title, which he thought up, which is probably the best part of the whole thing.”
Frankie Jonas even commented on the photo, saying, “Still so in love with this piece, perfect gift for the perfect duo. Your work on this couldn’t be more perfect!”
Brown spoke with Us Weekly to reveal a little bit about the process of making the toys. “Frankie sent me the picture and asked me to model the figures after that," he said. "It took about two weeks once we settled on a picture. The jackets were a challenge to sculpt, but we were both really happy with it.”
Unfortunately, the Turner/Jonas action figures are not actually available for purchase anywhere.
