Light the Bat-signal because the Caped Crusader has got a new ride.
“The Batman” director Matt Reeves has given fans their first look at what Robert Pattinson’s Batmobile will look like in the upcoming superhero film.
Reeves tweeted three images of the Dark Knight’s wheels and it definitely has an old school ‘60s muscle car vibe over anything futuristic.
Shot from different angles, the gritty Batmobile features a grille on top of the hood, an exposed rear engine and angular points. The Bat & the Furious!
The snaps also give a better glimpse of Pattinson on set in his iconic Batsuit.
Last month, fans got their first look at the "Twilight" actor’s camera test for the role, which included quick shots in the costume.
Pattinson was cast in the iconic role after Ben Affleck, who played Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Suicide Squad” and “Justice League,” stepped down and revealed he “lost interest” in the character.
“I had an opportunity to write and direct and kind of start a standalone Batman," Affleck said. "You know it just happened at a point in my life when I kinda lost interest in those stories, you know?"
Prior to Affleck, Christian Bale, George Clooney, Val Kilmer and Michael Keaton have all played the Gotham City hero on the big screen, while Adam West made the role famous in the classic ‘60s television series.
"The Batman" is currently filming in the United Kingdom.
Joining Pattinson are Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
The film is set to open on June 25, 2021.
